- What is Lux Channel i Superstar ’09 about?
Lux is the brand of the stars and it has been associated with the making of superstars all across the globe for decades. Similarly, Lux has shouldered the task of looking for aspiring talents in Bangladesh for many years now. The success of every Lux sponsored competition has led to establishing the careers of many stars of the showbiz industry in Bangladesh. The competition took a new turn after it partnered with one of the leading electronic media company in the country, Channel i. After successfully completing last three years competition, Lux Channel I Superstar is here once again. This year importance will be given to the process of becoming a glamorous star and the contestants will be tested in all sectors of the glamour industry – fashion, advertising, on television, and most of all, beauty.

- What’s the eligibility for Registration?
Any Bangladeshi female of 18 years or above can register.
- How long will the Registration continue?
Last date of registration is 20th August 2009.
- Selection Process:
- What is the process for selecting the contestants?
Registered contestants will be called for 1st level of Interview. Selected candidates from 1st round will go for next level of Photoshoot and screen test.
- How many contestants will you select finally?
Maximum of 25 candidates will be selected for the Grooming Ground.
- Where and when will this selection rounds take place?
These selection round will take place in Dhaka & other major cities.
Date and venue of this selection round will be communicated in Press & TV.

Training & Elimination Process:

What will be the process of grooming and training for the participants?
Top 25 contestants will go through an extensive session of grooming on fitness, chorography, ramp, modelling, speech & diction, fashion, dance & acting. This is intended to better equip them with the right skills for career in media.
- How would the champion be selected?
With each level of training, contestants will be put on different level of competition and contestants will be eliminated in different episodes, gradually leading to the selection of the super star in the grand finale.
- Who will be the judge this year?
Judges will be famous media personality with authority & credential in their respective fields. Their names will be declared later.

Mega Prizes:
- What would be the prize for the winners this year?
- The Champion will get a movie contract for acting in a film made by Impress telefilm. This year the film will be on screenplay written by famous writer Syed Shamsul Haq.
- She will also get a brand new car.
- The champion will also get an International Scholarship for acting training abroad.
Besides, all of the Top Ten Contestants will get to act in drama on Channel I .
- What will be the nature of the scholarship?
This will be a scholarship for acting training in the best possible international school for the champion of 2009.

- When will the program go on air?
Episodes of this year Lux Channel I super Star 2009 will go on air in the month October
